Okuma offers 3 years guarantee for turning and milling spindles

Each machine tool is only as productive, precise and reliable as permitted by the reliability of the built in spindles. Because we are one hundred percent convinced of our quality we guarantee faultless function of our lathe- and milling spindles for 36 months – without shift limitation. The guarantee is granted automatically at purchase of a new Okuma machine and is valid for all lathes, machining centres and multitasking machines which are installed with up to three spindles. Damage caused by crash or improper use, as well as the cutting heads of portal machines are not covered by the warranty.

Moreover we have established our own spindle repair facility at Krefeld Headquarters with equipment for testing and run-in. In case of a spindle breakdown in one of the machines installed across Europe, the run-in replacement spindles in Krefeld can shorten the delivery time to the customer to 1 to 2 days. This advance replacement saves money and gives our staff the time needed for analysis and possible repair of the defective part.
