Fast, accurate and collision free

State-of-the-art technology used in high-performance NC Computers has enabled Okuma´s Hi-Cut Pro and CAS (Collision Avoidance System) to function simultaneously. While performing 3D-model (virtual machine) collision checks, shape-command related speed and acceleration is automatically controlled. Parts requiring highly accurate and fast machining can be handled safely – and free of costly collisions.

Simultaneous 5-Axis Tool Tilt Compensation

The tool angle on a workpiece (tool tilt) in 5-axis machining will change on a waving surface. CAM processing errors will cause the tool to stagger with unnecessary accel/decal and reverse angles during axis feed. Simul 5-axis TTC will keep federates steady with a smooth sequence of commands to automatically correct tool tilt angles – resulting in shorter cycle times and smoother surface finishes.
